The Trust registered under the Indian Trust Act 1860 and Registration No. is 3681, New Delhi. Indian Media Trust is established to unite dedicated editors and journalists at one powerful platform and it will function from all over India.

In such times, the media, as the fourth pillar, can play a very crucial role. The Indian Media Trust can play an unparalleled role in curbing these demonic tendencies and restoring India as the spiritual leader of the world. What is needed is to take a step forward. It is with this objective in mind that the Indian Media Trust has been established.

Enabling independent media to perform the crucial role of being a watchdog over the government and educating people about the issues that affect their lives also, requires supporting organizations such as trade unions and professional associations for journalists and a public, which is well educated about these roles and responsibilities of media and their function in a democratic and open society. Safety of working journalists, the interests and work of Indian Media Trust, was formed as a strong organisation.
